Blackpool is fun if you’ve got a couple of hundred quid to spare! Everyone is in holiday mode and most people are friendly. We stayed at the Grand Hotel which is clean and does the job but desperately in need of a lick of paint! Probably the best pick of the bunch for Blackpool standards. Fish and chips at Yorkshire Fisheries is a must so is a Heritage tram ride along the Golden Mile which the kids will love. If you want some extra fun head on to the Sandcastle Waterpark and enjoy a couple of hours riding the waves. Came home shattered with extremely happy kids.
